Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) has once again expanded its international cooperation. UNNES has established a partnership with the National Changhua University of Education in Taiwan.
In this cooperation, UNNES and the National Changhua University of Education have agreed to work together in implementing the three pillars of higher education, which are education, research, and community service.
Vice Rector for Planning and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, MT, IPM, stated that UNNES continues to build and establish cooperation with universities in Indonesia and abroad.
He explained that this is aimed at expanding cooperation and collaboration between UNNES and institutions around the world by developing and strengthening research and education.
“UNNES is an open for anyone who wants to learn, acquire knowledge, and become a partner in the development of science with various parties,” he said.
In addition, Prof. Nur Qudus mentioned that UNNES provides several programs such as the UNNES Scholarship for Selected International Students, UNNES Workcamp, UNNES Short Course, UNNES Adjunct Professor, UNNES Visiting Professor Series, and International Mobility.
Prof. Nur Qudus hopes that this cooperation can improve the effectiveness, efficiency, productivity, creativity, innovation, and quality of higher education in Indonesia.
Dr. Hon Man Lee, Dean of the Office of International and Cross-strait Affairs and Professor at the Department of Chemistry of the National Changhua University of Education, Taiwan, stated that they visited UNNES because UNNES is one of the leading universities in Indonesia that is advanced, and he hopes that UNNES will continue to become an internationally acclaimed university.
